NACOGOP
Email and Office365 Transition
What is happening?
For several years Microsoft’s non-profit partnership has allowed organizations, such as North America Church of God of Prophecy, to provide unlimited email accounts and Office365 access to their employees and volunteers at no cost. Starting this month, Microsoft will begin charging their non-profit partners to continue this service. Maintaining our access to these tools would come at a tremendous expense.
It is our heart to prioritize funding the Lord’s work among His churches while minimizing administrative costs wherever possible. As a result, we are exploring other cost-effective options to ensure our ministers, lay ministers and administrative staff have the resources necessary to continue His work.
What does this mean for me?
If you currently have an NACOGOP email address, you will no longer be able to send or receive emails or access emails saved in your inbox or other folders effective October 24th. Any Microsoft applications you are utilizing with NACOGOP login credentials, such as Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. will no longer be available to you.
What do I need to do?
Please ensure that all files saved to OneDrive are backed up to a local hard drive. For a video tutorial, click here.
You must also archive any emails for offline use. For a video tutorial, click here.
What’s next?
As we continue to navigate these changes, our goal is to have a suitable replacement for these tools to you as soon as possible. We understand that ministry is challenging even with excellent resources, so ensuring you have the support you need is our top priority. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this process.
For reporting purposes, please follow this link. You are still able to use your current NACOGOP login to report, even though email and other applications are no longer supported.
As we continue through this process, we would ask you to take a moment and fill out this short form.
