Discipling the Next Generation

Let’s be honest - when it comes to discipling the next generation, it is often difficult to know where to start. Between the ever-changing culture, their instant access to information and a technology dominated lifestyle, finding ways to disciple the next generation can seem like an impossible feat. But the truth is, despite how difficult or daunting the task might seem, we cannot afford to sit on the sideline while the next generation is discipled by something other than the church. I believe that God is moving in the hearts of young people and that he has something special in store for those that love him (1 Corinthians 2:9).

The question remains: how? How are we discipling the next generation? How are we preparing them to fill our shoes? Or better yet - what is our vision? There is an expectation that rests on us to steward what God is blessing us with. So, whether it is 1 or 100, making sure they are discipled is our responsibility. Attached is an article that I found that looks at the importance of discipleship and a few pointers along the way.
