A Pause From the Heart
As we look ahead, there is so much we don’t yet see. Plans unfold, questions remain, and the path before us isn’t always clear. It can be tempting to want answers before we take the next step, but faith often asks us to move forward without having everything figured out. In those moments, I’m reminded that trust doesn’t require certainty, it simply asks for surrender.
For me, that trust often begins with a pause. A moment to breathe, to listen, and to realign my heart with the Lord. When I slow down enough to do that, I’m reminded that I don’t walk alone and I don’t walk blindly. As we submit our ways to Him, we can move forward, not perfectly, but faithfully.
One small encouragement I’d like to offer is this: don’t walk alone. Consider choosing one person; a friend, an encourager, a prayer partner, and be intentional about building that connection. Reach out. Share a conversation, a prayer, or a simple word of encouragement. We were never meant to do this life on our own, and sometimes trusting the Lord looks like allowing others to walk alongside us.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to Him,
and He will make your paths straight.”
