A Season of New Life
Every spring, the world is already looking for new life. We have the answer.
Easter is the pinnacle of the Christian calendar. We are grateful to worship more than a religion defined by Christmas, for Christmas would not carry its full weight without the Easter story. We celebrate a Savior not only for His miraculous birth, but for His miraculous death and resurrection. Jesus is the only deity who not only lived a worthy and holy life, He still lives.
Easter is also a season that births all things new. Spring blooms with beauty and warmth, and on Resurrection Sunday we celebrate the risen Savior while the world around us stirs with the same restless energy, people eager to explore, connect, and step into something fresh.
As we approach Resurrection Day, let us be intentional about reaching into our extended church families and surrounding communities. People will get outside more. They will look to connect. Many will quietly hope for a new beginning after setting aside their failed New Year’s resolutions. The story of Christ’s resurrection is not confined to a Sunday sermon; it is the most compelling invitation to start over the world has ever been given.
So, invite someone, a friend, a coworker, a neighbor, to church. But do not stop there. Take someone a small gift. Meet a need. Grab coffee or dinner together. Christ’s story is not confined to a pulpit but demonstrated in small, intentional moments, so they may see Him in how we love and live.
